The berries, the ones you liked in the cake from January. You found them absolutely scrumptious, but I am not sure they are a winter berry or not. Don't you recall?
Okay look please don't be mean but do you think this looks okay I think I got the makeup right but seriously I don't know if I've overdone it or?? I didn't want the freckles showing through and- well take a look.
[Attached is a picture of Mukuro's face all dolled up like Junko - her makeup attempt isn't anything to write home about, but the colours don't look awful and nothing is smudged! She's... possibly used a little too much coverup on her cheeks.]
You really think so? Phew. Phew that’s good- um, here.
[She attaches another picture of herself without her makeup - still with her Junko wig on, but her freckles are noticeable across her cheeks and her features are colder.]
[Weapons testing had proved an...interesting experience. What she hadn't expected was for her animal magic to transform her bullets into angry, swarming bees.
That was the opposite of helpful, and had only ended up leading to Mukuro getting stung quite a few times as she tried to get away.
At least the Red Springs had reopened now. The healing factor would do something, she hoped, as she lay back in the water to nurse her injuries. Sure, she was out of her disguise as she bathed, but hopefully she wouldn't run into anyone she knew...]
[Jane is heading to the springs for a different reason, though 'sting' still comes into it. As she walks in with a modest bathing suit on and a towel wrapped around her hips the reason is evident in the angry nettle stings around her ankles.
Nothing had worked on them so far, and the water might give them some relief at least.
She doesn't really notice the girl at first - why would someone else not be using the place? - but as she catches sight of her out of the corner of her eye she can't quite help but blurt out--]
[Something had been weighing on Caster's mind since the Tournament in Celliwig- and despite how many other things she was trying to juggle, the thought wouldn't shake. You see, she'd seen a young woman spending an awful lot of time around her cousin throughout the day- and Hypnos seemed extremely engaged by her.
...Caster had to find out exactly who this person was. Because clearly, this was now her business.
And it just so happened that she spotted said woman in town whilst she was on the way home from her business meeting with Darin.
Hm... cloaking herself in shadow, she tried to follow her and see what she could find out. Unfortunately, the fact Caster currently had a sheep like lower body- thankfully, covered by a long skirt- meant she couldn't be as subtle as she was hoping...]
[Jane is going about her business in Camelot's market the way she normally does - picking up a few things for dinner, maybe a treat she'd share with Aurora - when she feels the unmistakeable sensation of being watched. She frowns, though does her best not to make it look obvious that she noticed anything at all, and as she looks over some apples she glances furtively about herself.
Could she just be being paranoid? A lot has happened lately and she'd be lying if she said she was sleeping well at the moment.
She sighs at herself, buys four apples and tries to shake off the feeling. What would anyone be watching her for, anyway? As far as she's aware she's done nothing to draw anyone's ire.
But as she leaves the market with her purchases and starts walking home, she can still feel the hairs on the back of her neck rising up. She stops under the pretense of rearranging the items in her bag, setting it down on a wall and rummaging inside it, and finally - finally she spots the shadow following her out of the corner of her eye.
Though she's still timid about using dark magic at all, a small hex begins forming in one of her hands.]
I can see you, you know. Why are you following me?

[ a gold-wrapped box arrives! inside the box is a very lovingly crafted chocolate dog. it's possible that izō had no idea how big it would be when he said "yeah, that one" and pointed to a picture and so — congratulations, jane! it's 13.5 ounces of milk chocolate doggo. ]
[After Caster's altercation with Kate that night, she found herself staggering back into town. Kate was safe, but...Caster's face was still stinging horribly. It hurt- and everything looked just a little fuzzy on one side- more so than could be explained by her potion to see in darkness wearing off.
By the time the first traces of the morning bustle started, a glimpse in a shop window revealed a rather nasty, swollen black eye. That would do it.
...she didn't want to walk home like this. Maybe she could call someone out to where she was? No, it was too early for that, and staring at her device was giving her a headache.
So instead, that morning, Caster could be found sitting on a bench in town outside a grocery store, hood down as she pressed some frozen vegetables to her cheek and looking very sorry for herself.
And just to make matters worse- she spotted someone nearby who she'd been doing everything she could to avoid. She had no desire to anger Hypnos further, after all!]
[She would have skirted around Caster entirely if she'd seen her, but Jane is preoccupied with rummaging around in her bag as she walks down the street with only half an eye aimed upwards to ensure she doesn't walk into anybody as she leaves the grocery store.]
Ah? [Her exclamation of surprise is soft but her eyes widen when she sees the other woman so close by. After spending so long not really seeing her around at all, Caster had been all but put out of her mind... It's all she can do not to flinch backwards when she's suddenly so near.]
Yes, me? [Did she not threaten Jane enough the last time they spoke? Her eyes narrow faintly as if ready to continue that argument if she has to, but then her attention shifts to something else and her train of thought diverts.]

[Does she find it strange that someone messaged her out of nowhere to ask about makeup? A little. But will she refuse advice? Not at all.]
