[Jane is going about her business in Camelot's market the way she normally does - picking up a few things for dinner, maybe a treat she'd share with Aurora - when she feels the unmistakeable sensation of being watched. She frowns, though does her best not to make it look obvious that she noticed anything at all, and as she looks over some apples she glances furtively about herself.
Could she just be being paranoid? A lot has happened lately and she'd be lying if she said she was sleeping well at the moment.
She sighs at herself, buys four apples and tries to shake off the feeling. What would anyone be watching her for, anyway? As far as she's aware she's done nothing to draw anyone's ire.
But as she leaves the market with her purchases and starts walking home, she can still feel the hairs on the back of her neck rising up. She stops under the pretense of rearranging the items in her bag, setting it down on a wall and rummaging inside it, and finally - finally she spots the shadow following her out of the corner of her eye.
Though she's still timid about using dark magic at all, a small hex begins forming in one of her hands.]
I can see you, you know. Why are you following me?
