[ Huh - oh. He lets out a small sound of surprise at her comment. Really? She's flattered? His eyes stay locked on her. She definitely doesn't know what she does to him, or how she makes him feel. Or how different it is from how he's always felt around others. He's always been so bothersome and lazy and unmotivated -- no one who works hard and has goals really wants to spend time with someone like that. And he's not really inclined to change himself or who he is because he doesn't dislikehimself for that.

But she seems to notice the fact that he's got some good. And she's lucky? He doesn't really know how to accept compliments directed at him. ]

And -- she's here with him and by choice. Because certainly she'd tell him to back off if she didn't want him here. Certainly she wouldn't kiss him twice. Certainly, if she didn't meant that, they wouldn't be standing here right now. ]
