As if to reassure him that she's only joking with him, she gives his hand the lightest tug and sets her weight against his arm for a moment, resting her head there briefly.
Jane looks up again, and there's the tiniest frown creasing just between her eyebrows.]
Mm... and you don't like that.
[It's not a question. She may generally prefer animals over people, but that doesn't mean she's completely socially inept.]
It sounds like it might be a little lonely. [For a moment, she studies him quietly, then she smiles.] You don't need to worry about that with me.
